Homeschool Law
s by State

The key to successful homeschooling starts with state and local compliance. Use the interactive map below to access primary sources on homeschooling from your State Department of Education by clicking on the state where you live. We suggest you carefully read through the resource and create a checklist of responsibilities you might have as a homeschool. Members can also download our checklist for CA from the "Homeschool Directory" space. Use your checklist to ensure you are in compliance at the beginning, middle, and end of your academic year.  Note that some states have specific dates for filing "intent to homeschool" forms, while others do not require notification.

Are you a iugoPRO and have questions? Attend our twice-weekly office hours with our homeschool specialist and stay in the know.
